Harry Potter and the Totally Relevant Lesson Plan

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Standardized testing is officially over! You may now breathe.

For the remaining five weeks until summer (glorious summer), we will be reading a novel that they voted on. Rather than starting that the day after testing though, I decided to postpone until Monday and celebrate their extremely hard work this year by watching Harry Potter.

“What’s the point of this? How is this even related to school?”

Whoa there, homeslice. In case you aren’t cultured, this is one of the greatest book and movie series of all time. I am a. Allowing you to breathe before delving into another book, b. Introducing you to something you may want to read on your own time, and c. Being the nicest teacher ever. So how about stop complaining for once and you may actually learn something from the gold displayed across the screen.

End rant.

xx, NB
